Working as an Animal Care Assistant

Niccie Seymour has been working as an Animal Care Assistant with the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) for the past 6 years. In this video, she tells us what the work is like, the tasks that need to be undertaken and her typical hours of work. We hear what qualifications and/or experience are necessary and all about the pros and cons of the job.

To give us something of a flavour of the work, Nicky also shares a case study with us. We hear about Sherman who was brought to NAWT as a puppy and the journey he has gone through to be ready for rehoming.
