TTouch in agility

In this video, Maria Johnston explains how the canine therapy and dog training method Tellington TTouch can help with dog agility training.

We meet Maria's dog agility champion Guinness. Marie talks about the difference that using the Telllington TTouch method has made to her training and running of dogs in the agility ring.

We hear how TTouch can help with various problems that handlers might be having with their dogs, such as: fears over certain pieces of equipment; lack of confidence of running or completing an agility course; or hyper-excitability.

Maria also explains that TTouch can help to calm a dog, as well as to improve their balance, co-ordination and also their body awareness. Such help reduces the chance of jumps and poles being knocked down and encourages a clear run of the dog agility course.
