Training dogs to not jump up
Although a dog is usually only showing their affection by jumping up to greet you, it's not such fun if your dog scratches you with its claws or gets mud all over your best suit.
In this video, Sally Marchant shows us how we can train dogs not to jump up by using reward based training. The training does not even involve the trainer giving a command but is based on the idea of getting the dog to figure out for themselves what results in the reward they want.
