Supplements in dog foods
In this article, Alison Daniel from 'Dindins' talks about some of the ingredients in dog food supplements and explains how much improvement they can make to a dog's diet.
Dogs are carnivores, and the processed foods that we feed them these days can leave them lacking in a number of vital nutrients. Alison has spent many years researching this field, and has put her knowledge to good use in making a number of supplements derived from natural ingredients, which can replace those nutrients.
Alison gives us an overview of the subject and also talks more in-depth about four particular ingredients that she uses: bilberries, sea greens, cranberries and flax seed (also known as linseed).
