Safe dog car travel
In this video, we find out about how to keep your dog safe in the car, including harness seat belts, cages / crates and dog guards.
Alex Wilson is the Marketing Director and Co-Founder of www.xtra.dog
. At xtradog, they believe that if a dog is going to travel in a car they should either be in a crate or restrained and that the restraint or crate should have been suitably crash tested. Surprisingly, the law does not, currently, require car safety equipment for dogs to have passed any kind of crash testing. Alex talks us through the different things to consider when choosing the right car safety equipment for your dog. He also gives some useful guidance in training your dog to be comfortable with it.
