Wood Green: Paw to Door
Tracey Hill is a Dog Rehomer working for Wood Green: The Animal's Charity. In this video, she explains the "Paw to Door" scheme. It was started because Wood Green discovered that prolonged stay in kennels left some dogs stressed. Paw to Door enables dogs and cats to be rehomed while they stay at home. After a three-month trial period at the beginning of 2012, it was decided to extend the scheme because it worked very well.
In this video, Tracey tells us how the scheme works in practise, the perceived benefits and what the response has been from those taking part in it. So far, the response, both from owners putting their dogs up for rehoming and from those offering to rehome a dog, has been very positive.
