Is there a wolf in your living room?

In this video, dog psychologist Lizi Angel discusses the difference between our pet dogs and wolf packs including a look at whether dogs can be 'dominant'.

Lizi explains the reasoning behind wolf behaviours and where the difference lies in our domestic dog's behaviours.

Did you know - The dog shares 71 of 90 identified behavioural patterns with the wolf which, although is more than any other two species share, it still doesn't make the dog a wolf. After all, there are at least 19 behavioural patterns that remain exclusively lupine/wolf. The brain of the domestic dog is much smaller than the wolf brain. Put simply, the wolf can outsmart the domestic dog any day simply because its brain is bigger!
