Increasing interest in rewards in dog training
Reward-based training gets results but how do find the motivator that has lots of appeal for the dog and one that is right for us.
In this video, Kamal Fernandez of East London Dog Training
, shows us what to do if our dog's motivator is not something we can easily work with.
Kamal shows how we can transfer an interest in one motivator into an interest in something else, and then goes on to demonstrate how to maximise enthusiasm for the motivator.
Even though Kamal's focus in on training for competitive Obedience, his guidance on using motivators can be applied to a wide range of training situations.
