Fun exercise with your dog: wag and tone
The obvious way to exercise with your dog is to go for a walk but if you fancied something fun that was a bit different you could try an activity like Wag and Tone. Wag and tone is the brainchild of dog trainers Sue Holstead and Karen Laker, and fitness instructor Ruth MacGill. It is based around a set of movements that owner and dog do together which provide opportunities for both to work on co-ordination skills and muscle toning.
In this video, we get a flavour of the sort of thing you'd find in a wag and tone class and information on where to find out more.
