Dangerous dogs and Breed Specific Legislation
In this video, dog training expert Jez explains why breeds like the pitbull and rottweiler have a bad name and how good dog training can prevent dog bites.
Jez talks through the common myths surrounding 'Dangerous Dogs'. He discusses the values behind Breed Specific Legislation and gives some interesting statistics which show that more people are injured by slippers and balloons than by dogs on an annual basis!
Jez also, very importantly, explains what we as owners can be doing to ensure we stay pro-active in ensuring our dog - whatever the breed - doesn't growl too much, or potentially become aggressive. He also shares useful tips for owners of older dogs, or dogs with unknown backgrounds.
