Behaviour Adjustment Training: a demo
In this video, Grisha Stewart, originator of BAT (Behaviour Adjustment Training) shows us the technique in action. BAT is a positive training method which can be used to help dogs overcome problems of fear and aggression. Cross-breed 'Sandy' is fearful of the vacuum cleaner and this manifests as aggression. Grisha explains the key signs to look out for which indicate that Sandy's behaviour is due to fear or aggression rather than just 'playing'. She tells us what not to do in response to this behaviour and demonstrates how Sandy's fearfulness and aggression can be overcome through BAT.
