Dog agility: pull through turns
Agility courses often include places where the handler needs to change to the other side of the dog so the handler isn't running the long way around a curve of jumps (the dog is nearly always the faster of the pair!) and there are a number of different turns that the handler can use to do this.
In this video, Marianne Tembey from Patchwork Training
shows how to teach the "pull through" type of turn, which helps the dog to know which jump is next, and to ensure their movement through the course is smooth and flowing.
