Jez Rose
Jez Rose is a canine behaviour specialist; an International Society for Canine Excellence Fellow and the training and behaviour specialist for the KONG Company Ltd.
Inspired by working with Dr Ian Dunbar and Dr Roger Abrantes, Jez is passionate and dedicated to positively changing canine behaviour. A student of wolf behaviour and psychology, Jez is the Scientific Advisor for the Welfare Committee at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust in Beenham, Berkshire. He is working on the environment enrichment project of the Trust to determine effective ways in which to encourage natural behaviours and research the affect enrichment has on welfare and well-being.
Having owned various breeds of dog since he was a child, Jez has always been enthusiastic about communicating with and understanding dogs, spending eight years training and studying a wide range of canine behaviour issues. Drawing from his in-depth knowledge of psychology and communication and a deep understanding of behavioural change, Jez is privileged to have learnt from and worked with some of the world's leading animal behaviourists.
When time permits he continues to conduct research as well as appearing frequently in print and on radio and TV.
